Aerobic Fermentation

Fermentation in the presence of air. This is usually occurs during the initial stage of fermentation and is the most vigorous and shortest part of the fermentation process. After aerobic fermentation, the wine is transferred to an airlocked vessel, usually a glass carboy for home winemakers.
